A highlight of my year for sure. I grew up making the trek to Chicago with my father, Randy Hawes, to hear him playing these concerts with the Music of the Baroque Chorus and Brass. Since I joined the MOB forces about 6 years ago, I have been fortunate that my father and I’s schedules have lined up a few times to perform together in this week of beautiful concerts. Featuring the beautiful St. Michael’s and Techny Divine Word Chapel, two of Chicago’s most glorious spaces to hear music, these concert are a can’t miss! This year we’re looking forward to having Guest Conductor, Patrick Dupré Quigley, lead the festivities.
