A program of Florence Price Songs, with pianist Eugenia Jeong, the director of piano studies at the University of Chicago. This concert is to celebrate the release of an all Florence Price album with Eugenia and myself, featuring over a dozen previously unrecorded songs and chamber music pieces by the master musician, Price. This particular concert is in collaboration with Mary Clare Barker, the music director of St. Gertrude’s, who will be playing with instrumental colleagues of hers, also with chamber music by Florence Price.
